Getting the App Installed
I spent a couple of weeks playing around with the Grosvenor Casino app, usually before or after dropping into the St Giles venue on Tottenham Court Road. One thing I realised very quickly: there is no separate APK that is branded only for St Giles. What you actually get is a set of standard Grosvenor apps that cover all UK venues - St Giles included - and that is effectively what people mean when they type “Grosvenor Casino St Giles apk” into search.
The main app I ended up using is called “Grosvenor Casino Games and Slots,” and it is listed on Google Play under Grosvenor Casinos Limited. Alongside that there is a Grosvenor Live Casino app if you mainly care about streamed dealer tables, and a different Grosvenor Poker Live app which focuses on live poker tournaments and cash games linked to real-world casinos.
Here is how I installed the main Android app on my phone:
- Open Google Play on your Android device.
- Type “Grosvenor Casino Games and Slots” into the search bar.
- Make sure the publisher shown is Grosvenor Casinos Limited, then hit Install.
- Accept the requested permissions and let the download finish.
- Launch the app and choose Register or Log In depending on your situation.
- Complete the ID checks when asked - I was asked for photo ID plus proof of address.
- Use the Deposit option in the account area to add funds.
- From the home screen pick a section: Slots, Live Casino, or Table Games.
I kept seeing third-party websites pushing direct APK downloads for Grosvenor, but I personally avoided those. I would only trust the Play Store version. On the official listing, the developer address shows as Tor, Saint-Cloud Way, Maidenhead SL6 8BN. If you see something else there, I would simply back out and not touch it.
iOS at St Giles
On Apple devices the whole thing works almost identically, just through a different store. I ran the same process on an iPhone during my tests around St Giles.
- Open the App Store from your iPhone or iPad.
- Search for “Grosvenor Casino” or “Grosvenor Casinos”.
- Find the Grosvenor Casinos Limited app and tap Get to start.
- Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple ID password.
- When the app is on your device, open it and either sign up or log in.
- If the app asks for documents, upload them through Account Settings.
- Go to the Deposit section to add money to your balance.
- Choose something to play from the lobby, or jump right into Live Casino.
If you are mainly into poker and not that bothered about slots or the regular live tables, then the app to look for is “Grosvenor Poker: Online Games.” It shows up separately in the App Store, and it is not bundled with the main casino download.
Device Requirements
Before downloading anything, it is worth checking that your phone or tablet is actually supported. I noticed different third-party blogs quoting slightly different minimum versions of Android and iOS, so the only really safe approach is to check the live system requirements on the store page at the moment you install.
| Platform | Minimum OS | App Name |
|---|---|---|
| Android | Android 5.0 or above (verify on Play Store) | Grosvenor Casino Games and Slots |
| Android | Android 11+ (Live Casino version) | Grosvenor Live Casino Games |
| iOS | iOS 12.0 or later (verify on App Store) | Grosvenor Casino / Grosvenor Poker |
All of these apps carry a PEGI-18 rating. You have to be at least 18 to open an account and gamble with real money, which lines up with other UK-licensed operators.
If your phone does not satisfy the minimum version or the app store blocks the install, there is still the mobile site. Grosvenor runs a browser-based casino at grosvenorcasinos.com, and that worked fine for me just by opening it in a mobile browser with no downloads at all.
What the App Actually Covers for St Giles Players
For me, the app settled into the role of a companion to real visits rather than a full stand-in. The Grosvenor Poker Live product has a “Near Me” button that uses your location to highlight the closest venue with live poker running - including St Giles - plus live cash game lists, waiting lists, and upcoming tournaments. That part updates in real time and can easily stop you heading across London for nothing.
The main casino app itself covers several areas:
- Slots - a big set of reel slots reachable straight from the starting screen.
- Live Casino - HD streams of blackjack, roulette, and other tables, all with live dealers.
- Poker - regular online poker, separate from the venue-focused Poker Live app.
- Sports Betting - this sits inside the all-in-one Grosvenor Casinos app build.
- Private Live Rooms - available from the Live Casino area for higher-stakes sessions.
The physical St Giles casino is located at 262 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 7RG, only a short walk from Tottenham Court Road Underground. Live gaming is available from midday through to 6am daily, and the casino itself stays open 24 hours. There is a restaurant on site as well, with food usually coming in roughly between £8 and £20.
Obviously, the app cannot copy the noise and feel of sitting in the building. What it does do is let you see what is running, check availability, and keep playing while you are at home or on the move, which ended up being a good enough reason for me to keep it installed.
